Stopped over to stroll down to a village in the middle of the Sandra valley - nestled n the middle of the largest pine forest in Asia

The DVATA FOREST RANGE is home to the largest Pine forest in Asia and is also home to the largest pine tree! Though I was unable to locate it :(

The dense pine forests of the Dvata forest range. It is amazing how Pine trees don't let anything else grow within a certain circumference, thus almost creating a pattern.

What lying down on the forest floor looks like!

The landscape looks neat and manicured but significant effort and very less time has gone into stripping off the mountain and the valley off the forest cover

The crystal clear  Yamuna river about 80 kms from its source in Yamunotri and about 350 kms before it dies in Delhi

Golden hour!
